Grass isn't important so do what you want, but like it is a small amount of grass so cutting theirs too isn't difficult and it is a nice thing to do so. In the end doesn't matter but obviously it would be cool if you did it.

Yes turning on the green is typically frowned upon…at courses that host 20k+ rounds a year. Any added stress is a bad thing. But your course…minus the mini-horse, not so much stress so yea, you should be good. If it really bothers your viewers you could always get some turning boards.
